Who we are & what we’re solving
Settleability issues within the biological treatment process are driving operational inefficiencies for wastewater treatment plants, and bulking and foaming events are the leading cause of effluent non-compliance.
We want to provide you with real-time biological diagnostics to prevent settleability issues, saving your plant time, money and resources.
We’re developing a 'lab in a box' - an automated system leveraging digital microscopy, machine vision, and deep learning to deliver treatment recommendations up to 150x faster than traditional methods, helping plants achieve pollution compliance at best cost.
What’s in it for you
In the short term, our system could offer an early warning system for emerging microbial issues, enabling proactive treatment to avoid costly clean-up measures, such as bioaugmentation.
In the longer term, plant capacity could be increased by up to 40% through optimised microbial activity, allowing plants to treat more wastewater per day using existing infrastructure.
Help the community! We are working with a post-grad class at the University of Alabama this semester. As part of the practical project, we need a partner facility for the students to sample.
